10-26-26    THOUGHTS

O God, You have listed here things You have brought us  to through Christ Jesus our Lord!  What blessedness there is here.  2Pet 1:3   “seeing that  His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence.”

Heb 12:22-25a    But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of angels,  23  to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, and to God, the Judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect,  24  and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood, which speaks better than the blood of Abel.  25  See to it that you do not refuse Him who is speaking.

Our Prayer:
Father, may we never  refuse Your words to us from heaven.   We have come to great things from You.  May we respond thankfully and eagerly.  May our desire be to please You in all.  Give us powerful strength to carry on continually in effective serving.  Purify our hearts.   As we are enrolled in heaven,  may we glorify Your name on earth.  In Jesus’ name,   Amen.
